Our Process

1. Assess

Port + Quarter believe that the most effective way for us to design for you is to get to know you. We’ll start out with a meeting, site visit, and lots and lots of questions.

2. Pre-design

After we’ve gotten to know you, we’ll set you up with some tools to show us your inspirations. We start to drill down into the common themes that show us what you love, then we use the inspiration you give us to create visual moodboards of scope and style for your project. Your sign-off on these moodboards ensures that we’ve understood your needs and gives us a chance to iron out any final details.

3. Design

The nitty-gritty. Depending on the scope of your project this phase might include material selections, accents, furniture purchase, construction drawings, budgeting, and pre-planning for construction. Moving through this phase we get your final approval on all the details before we start creating your new space.

4. Execute

This is where you step out and we take over. From a simple installation to complete construction drawings, building permits, and project management, we ensure that your project comes in on-time, on-budget, and above expectations.
